Survey results on STEMI admissions during COVID-19 STEMI patient admissions dropped by more than 50% during the COVID-19 outbreak, according to an extensive ESC survey of the cardiology community worldwide. “Fear of catching the coronavirus means patients are too afraid to go to hospital for life-saving treatment.
